Hi!

I'm Kathleen Mittler, graduate engineer for textile and leather technology (FH) since 2014.  

​

Senior Textile and Leather Engineer and Designer for Footwear, Apparel and Accessoires. Since 2019 I am working as a Freelancer for brands in Europe. My professional career started in 2013 at the international company PUMA SE as Apparel Developer and Color and Material Designer for Footwear. With a high affinity for color combinations and material mixes, as well as developing new innovative materials, I turn fashion and footwear into successful collections. Owning the complete COLORO TOOLBOX LIBRARY, I am able to create color concepts and mood boards remotely with physical color swatches. I have worked with various brands such as Zalando, Pepsi, SEGA and Footlocker, Womens Best and Oner Active to create unique, consistent and contemporary designs.

My professional background has equipped me with increasingly growing product design and development skills based on WHY, storytelling and attention to detail. My additional freelance experience has expanded my creativity as a designer with enthusiasm and passion and enhanced my skills in project and planning management, product development, team leadership, empathy and continuous learning.
